Delete Account

This page explains how to delete your Ground Hoppers App account and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

  1. Open the Ground Hoppers App on your device.
  2. Go to your Profile tab.
  3. Tap the Settings icon (top right).
  4. Tap 'Account'.
  5. Tap 'Delete Account'.
  6. Confirm the deletion. Your account will be scheduled for deletion.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile (username, email, display name, avatar, bio)
  • All your check-ins and imported check-ins
  • Your comments and likes
  • Your follow/friend relationships
  • Your messages and conversations
  • Your notification settings and push tokens

Data retention period

After requesting deletion, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion after 30 days. During this period you can reactivate your account by logging in again. After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
