Answers to the most common questions about the Ground Hoppers App.
You can import your match visits as a .txt or .csv file. Open the app, go to Profile → Settings → Import data and select your file.
File format

Fields
Pos. 1 – Date (YYYYMMDD, e.g. 20240315) Pos. 2 – Ground Pos. 3 – Home team Pos. 4 – Away team Pos. 5 – Home goals (optional) Pos. 6 – Away goals (optional) Pos. 7 – (empty) Pos. 8 – League / Competition (optional, helps with country detection)
Countries
After import you can manually assign a country to each league if it wasn't detected automatically. Please review all countries carefully!
How to import
Export your match history from your previous app as a .txt or .csv file → share the file to your iPhone/Android → open Ground Hoppers App → Profile → Settings → Import data → select file.
You can add missing matches yourself. Tap "Can't find match?" in the Nearby view or use the web app under Nearby → Add match. You can also add new grounds and competitions.
You can check in from 1 hour before kickoff until 2 hours and 25 minutes after kickoff. Check-ins outside this window are not possible.
You can choose in settings whether your profile is public, friends only or private.
Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account in the app. After confirmation your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
